I have been creating art for over 30 years. Art has
always been a major part of my life. I make an attempt
to work on something
creative every day. I have been
fortunate to have several of my pieces win awards in major
juried shows and to have pieces in
several collections
throughout the country.
I want my
painting to make people look closer at the beauty around
them. Beauty is present in many forms. In today's fast-paced
world I want people to slow down, relax and enjoy the abundance of beauty in the World.
My recent work has been figure studies
in Acrylic.
While my paintings may appear to be diverse in subject
matter, they all really are concerned with one subject,
light. I
have
always been fascinated with the way light (natural and
artificial) impacts the subject it falls upon and creates a
mood. I try
to capture
the many moods of light in my work.
All of my jewelry is made with the intent of keeping the pieces
affordable. Most semi-precious bracelets and necklaces are made
with
coated steel wire for strength and flexibility. Clasps are a mix of either
coated base metal, plated, or sterling silver. All ear
wires are hypo-allergenic.
I use a mix of semi-precious stones, Swarovski Austrian crystal, glass, bone, wood, metal
and plastic
beads. My
focus with the jewelry is to create pieces people want to
wear, pieces that will draw attention and pieces for the working professional.
